Healing starts with a tiny spark or a glimmer of hope during a time of extreme hardship. For pet owners experiencing homelessness, the hope and the healing that we are able to give, is all because of you.
Thank you so very much for donating your time, energy, support, and funds to help us provide a little bit of comfort to pet owners in need during a global pandemic. Your kind gifts have helped us sustain our efforts to provide care packs to individuals facing unprecedented hardships as access to social and public services have been reduced or put on hold due to COVID-19.
Although Comfy Carepacks had to reduce the number of outreaches and in-person events, our amazing board and volunteers quickly pivoted to ensure that our partners received weekly supplies to distribute to pet owners in need. In fact, Tara was able to provide care packs to Project Room Key participants as a Disaster Service Worker for the City of Los Angeles and Crystal, our financial officer, donated her time to drive through Downtown LA to meet and pass out packs to pet owners in need. We are not only thankful to have such a dedicated board, but we are grateful to volunteers and supporters like you who give us the strength and ability to go out into the community to help pets in need.
We also want to thank those individuals who created Birthday and General Fundraisers events on Facebook for 2020. Your efforts to share our mission and goals means a lot to us. Also, a big thank you to those individuals who continue to give on a monthly and quarterly basis. We are immensely grateful for your generosity and support.
